House rules & A–Z information

Dear guests,
We are delighted to welcome you and wish you a relaxing stay in our beautiful Tyrolean mountains!

To ensure that you feel completely at home and enjoy a carefree vacation, we have compiled some important information and house rules for you here.

If you have any questions or requests, we are always happy to help!

General house rules

Access to guest rooms and apartments
Our team is permitted to enter the rooms between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. to carry out cleaning, maintenance, or necessary work. Of course, we will knock or inform you beforehand. In emergencies (e.g., water damage, fire, technical danger), the room may be entered without prior notice. We always respect your privacy and well-being.

Cleaning & towel change
•    Guests in double rooms: For stays of 4 nights or more, a free mid-stay cleaning and towel change is included. 
•    Guests in apartments: For stays of 7 nights or more, a one-time free towel change is included.
•    Please let us know your preferred date at breakfast or at reception. If no date is specified, no cleaning or towel change will take place.
•    Additional towel changes: available for €10.
•    Interim cleaning of apartments: €15 on request.
Our goal is to use water, energy, and cleaning products sustainably—thank you for your help!
 

Quiet hours
We ask that you keep the building quiet between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. Please avoid loud music, conversations on the balconies, or disruptive noises during this time.


Smoking
Our rooms and apartments are non-smoking areas. Smoking is only permitted on the balconies, the terrace, or in the entrance area.

Security
Please close windows and doors when leaving your room. Candles, open fires, or barbecues on the balcony are not permitted. Please report lost room cards (€10 replacement fee) or keys immediately.

Waste separation
For the sake of the environment, we separate our waste. Please dispose of your waste in the labeled containers in front of the ski room. In case of non-compliance, we will unfortunately have to charge €50 as a contribution to expenses – thank you for your understanding and your help with waste separation.

Animals
Out of consideration for our guests without pets, we do not accept animals.

Liability
We are only liable for valuables in accordance with § 970 ff. ABGB (Austrian Civil Code) if they have been expressly given into our custody. We accept no liability for personal belongings.

A–Z Information

ALPSPITZ Vital breakfast buffet
Daily from 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. in our cozy Zirbenstube. Included for guests in double rooms. Apartment guests are welcome to book breakfast subject to availability and for an additional charge.

Doctors & pharmacies
You can find current information on the tourism association's website: www.zugspitzarena.com → Info & Service.

Pictures by GingerCreations
All pictures in our hotel were painted by Regina (GingerCreations) and are available for purchase.

Bread roll service
We offer a daily bread roll service for apartment guests (for a fee). Please place your order at the reception desk by 5:30 p.m.

Books & games
In the Tiroler Stube next to the reception and in the children's playroom (lower ground floor), you will find books and board games for young and old.

Iron & ironing board
Available free of charge at the reception – please ask in the morning.

Check-out
We kindly ask you to vacate your room or apartment by 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure.

Blankets & pillows
Additional blankets or other pillows are available at the reception desk.

Beverages
You will find a selection of chilled beverages in the breakfast room and in the Tiroler Stube. Please enter your consumption on the beverage list and settle your bill the day before your departure.

Gifts & souvenirs
In front of the reception desk, you will find lovingly selected gifts and souvenirs made of wood, glass, and felt.

Children's area
Our playroom in the basement and the garden play area are open to all children. Please make sure that everything is left tidy.

Waste separation
Please use the waste bins in front of the ski room for residual waste, plastic, paper, and glass. Thank you for your support!

Umbrellas
Available free of charge in the entrance hall.

Reception
If unattended, you will find the current opening hours and our telephone number for enquiries there.

Safe
To use:
•    Press the red button on the inside of the door with a pen.
•    Enter your 4-digit code within 15 seconds, then confirm with B.
•    To open, enter the code + B again.
•    Please leave the safe door open when you leave.

Ski room & boot dryer
In the basement: space for skis, strollers, hiking boots, etc. Feel free to use our boot dryer.

Vacuum cleaner
Available free of charge behind the lift.

TV
Brief operating instructions are provided in the room—we are happy to help if you have any questions.


Washing machine
Available for a fee – please ask at reception.

Wellness area
Our wellness area with experience shower, infrared cabin, sauna, and relaxation room
is available free of charge every day from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Please register your visit to the Finnish sauna at least 1 hour in advance (ideally in the morning) so that we can heat it up for you individually. In the interests of sustainability, the sauna is not automatically in operation at all times. The Swiss stone pine infrared cabin can be started directly at any time. Fresh Tyrolean spring water is available at the drinking fountain. 

Wi-Fi
Available free of charge.

Room card
To open, hold the card under the door handle for approx. 3 seconds. The front door and ski room can also be opened with it after 8:00 p.m. If lost: replacement fee €10.
